Muup.fun is a non-custodial app: we are built around wallet addresses, not real-world identities. This page explains what we do (and deliberately don't) collect.
1. What we collect
Wallet address. Your public address identifies you on the Platform (profile, trades, comments). It is pseudonymous — we do not ask for your name, email, phone number, or government ID.
Profile content you choose to add. Username, bio, avatar, and banner images, plus comments and reports you submit. All of this is optional and user-provided.
Technical logs. Standard server logs (IP address, request path, timestamps) for security, rate-limiting, and debugging; and error reports when something in the app crashes.
2. What is public by nature
Everything you do on a blockchain is public and permanent: token launches, trades, balances, and transfers tied to your address are visible to anyone, on any block explorer, forever. The Platform displays this public data but does not control it and cannot delete it.
3. Third-party services we rely on
Running the Platform involves these processors, each receiving only what it needs:
- Dynamic — wallet connection and login infrastructure (sees your wallet address and connection metadata).
- Vercel — hosts the web app (standard web hosting logs).
- Neon — managed database that stores profiles, comments, and indexed on-chain activity.
- Sentry — error reporting when the app crashes (technical error context).
- Pinata / IPFS — stores uploaded images (token logos, avatars). Files on IPFS are public.
- RPC providers — relay blockchain reads/writes.
4. Cookies and local storage
We use browser local storage for functional purposes only: keeping you signed in (your session token), remembering your theme, and wallet-connection state. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.
5. How long we keep data
Profile data, comments, and indexed activity are kept while the Platform operates so the app works and history stays consistent. Server and error logs are retained for a limited operational window. On-chain data is outside our control and permanent.
6. Your choices
You can edit or clear your profile fields at any time in Settings, disconnect your wallet at any time, and use the Platform with a fresh address if you prefer stronger pseudonymity. Note that we cannot erase blockchain history or content already replicated on IPFS.
7. Changes and contact
We will update this page as the Platform evolves and reflect changes in the "Last updated" date. Questions: reach us through the official Muup.fun community channels linked on the home page.
